Marica Josimcevic was born in 1946 in Belgrade, Serbia, where she lives and works as a freelance writer and translator. She is the Author of several novels and collections of short stories published in Serbia: The Scorpio Knew  -  collection of short stories, 1988; The Lord’s Retreat – novel, 1991; The Abyss On Top Of The World -  novel, 1994; The Way Of The Skin -  collection of short stories, 1998;  Yovanye-The Book on Second Creation,  2003, The Botanist—drama , 2010. Marica Josimcevic received much recognition and many awards for her literary accomplishments. Among them,  certainly the most prestigious is   the Award “ISIDORA SEKULIC” for the collection of short stories The Way of the Skin, as the best literary achievement in Serbia in 1998.

Milica Krkovic devoted last eighteen years of her life to study of Rosicrucianism and various forms of Hermetic philosophical currents.  Looking for the “golden source of  the true universal knowledge”, she is  a tireless seeker after inner perfection. As the Author of the collection of short stories Sword of the Perfect Knight,  a novel The Little Book of Creation , and the translation of the very first  Serbian edition of Rosicrucian Manifestos, she is the only Serbian writer whose works could be found in the catalog of the Bibliotheca Hermetica in Amsterdam. As an art and literary critic and translator by profession, Milica published numerous articles, essays, and reviews in the leading Serbian art and literary magazines.

Tamara Nikolic is a translator to and from Serbian to English language,  book illustrator and a painter interested in mystical, sacred, and occult realms of  human existence. Born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1959, she lives and works in New York, US, since 1993. Her art is surrealistic, often purposely naïve and disproportional, but surprisingly expressive .  Her poetry is written in the similar manner; words twisted by the cosmic sounds to express the pain of immortal Love. Tamara is a seeker after the true meaning of life. Her poems are like the sign-posts on the treacherous inner road of self discovery .  Dressed in the  red robe of Love, blinded with the Light in front of her, she tries to make sense of her feelings in the clash with alchemical processes of the heart. The need to take control over destiny is ever present. But every verse is yet another question mark in the questionnaire of life that has no end. Besides translating, painting and poetry, Tamara is a  lover of Tarot and the author of the “Visionary Tarot” 78 card deck.

Stevan V. Nikolic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, and moved to New York City in 1987. As a writer, he spent last ten years studying applied Ethics, Freemasonry and various forms of esoteric spirituality. His works were published in Ars Quatuor Coronatorum (London), Transactions of A.L.R. (New York), Singidunum Annual Transactions (Belgrade) and numerous other publications. He is the author of three books: Royal Art (2006, 2009), The Purpose of Freemasonry (2007),  Letters to the Hope (2010), Star– The Book of Her Life (2010), and  he also co-authored a series of four books under  the common title:  Spiritual Guide Through the Secrets of the Birth (2010)  A fluent speaker, he lectures on different Masonic traditions and history of Freemasonry in Europe and USA. Stevan V. Nikolic is the Editor in Chief of  the Serbia Today Magazine.

Branislav Pipovic was born in 1959 - Serbian writer, lives and works in Belgrade , Serbia. He is the Author of theatrical plays “Paris Commune” (directed by Paolo Maggieli, Theater Atelier 212, Belgrade, 1988),  “The Pagans” ( Theater “The Scene”, Novi Sad, 1993), collection of short stories “Winter Suite” (Prosveta, Belgrade, 1997), esoteric lexicon “The Castle: Sleeping Beauty, the secret of con- Junction” (LOM, Belgrade, 2001, Lux Mundi Press LLC, 2009), as well as a number of stories published in literary magazines in Serbia and Belgrade’s daily “Politika”.

Jelena Sokovic was born in 1980 in Sombor, Serbia. She graduated  history at the University of Novi Sad in 2006. During her studies she already became interested in esoteric sciences and she dedicated her time  especially to astrology. After graduation, she moved to Belgrade where she continued her astrology studies at the Astrology Institute. There she worked on comparative studies of history, astrology and psychology and wrote several notable articles and analyses. Constantly in search after the profound understanding of the purpose of human existence, she develops her  knowledge and raises the level of the understandings of abstract  concepts. The results of her research was published under title “The Spiritual Guide Through the Secrets of the Birth”, which she coauthored  with Stevan V.Nikolic. In there she finds the lost understandings of the meaning of the human existence and celebrates life as the highest ideal. Jelena works professionally in publishing and is the Editor in Chief in the Lux Mundi Press publishing house in Belgrade, Serbia.   

 

 

Dr. Irena Sjekloca Miler is the  author of twelve books on  spirituality. Six books are about numerology, one about the money, another about feng shui and carmic medicine and remaining three books of womens’s Masonry. She is the guest of many tv shows and radio broadcasts. She is also corresponding writter for  the various journals and the member of different alternative associations both at home and abroad. She is a designer by profession, graduated political science and the doctor of complementary medicine and LICH homeopath. She has extensive practise in the prognostic, diagnostic and counseling people through feng shui projects, finansial analysis and numerology prediction for over a twenty years. Irena Sjekloca Miler also holds  lectures on various esoteric teachings. She dedicated her life to  educating people  through esoterics seminars of motivational  type: 1: feng shui; 2. money; 3.spiritual self protection; 4. numerology. She was the only one in the Europe who predicted New York attack on September, 11th 2001; the death of Pope in 2005.; the end of Yugoslavia bombing in 1999; global recession in 2009 and other important events in her country and the world. She is professionally engaged in painting for ten years, painting a beautiful myhological, white horses. She is the member of the UNS and MSN (International Federation of Journalists).

 

Marko Smukov is a publicist, a lawyer and writer born in 1929 in Dobrinci, Serbia. He graduated  Naval high school in Rijeka. On the basis of unproven guilt, he was  sentenced by the Yugoslavia Comunist Government  to Goli Otok, and held for  years as a prisoner at the infamouse Goli otok prison. He graduated in 1958. Law School at the Belgrade University  and in 1962  he passed the  Bar Exam.  He practicted law in Belgrade  until his retirement in 1999. He is the author of many fiction books, which are often inspired by true events showing the life as it is.He has published twenty books including some award-winning and best-sellers: „Characters painted by reality“, „Lottery ticket“ –first edition, „Sun warms again“,“ The Serbian-American humor“-parallel bilingual text,“ Wire“, „Vertigo“, „Mariana“,“Everyone can tell their story“, „Lottery ticket“ -third edition, „Yes or no“-drama, “Marital-nonmarital maze“, „Taboo“, „Sunset colors“-poems,“Mostly clear“-parallel bilingual text,“Swingers“.

 

 

Branislav Paic was born in 1970 in Benkovac, Croatia. After several months, in 1971.  his family moved to Belgrade, Serbia where Branislav now lives and works. Even as a boy,he was in constant contact with the original stone-masonry schools of Dalmatia and Ravni Kotari. As a child he worked with his uncle as a stone carver,  where he became acquainted with the secrets of mining, stone carving,  and  woodworking. This informal but thorough apprenticeship,  continued until his adulthood. In 1994, he went to India looking for different   stone carving  schools. There he attended  very prestigious ancient schools of carving in Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Ellora, Ajanta, Bombay, learning from local craftsmen. The sublimation of Indian and Dalmatian stone carving schools defines his particular spiritual approach to carving and will permanently mark his artistic commitment and integrity.

 

 

Dubravka Simovic was born in 1952 in Novi Sad, Serbia. She was educated both in Subotica and Kragujevac, and  graduated World Literature at the University of Belgrade. Since she was nine, when she won her  first literature prize, she was constantly surrounded by spoken and unspoken thoughts, as well as written and unwritten words and books both at her home and in the National Library of Serbia where she works. She lives between the covers and every single day she turns another page. Her literary works were publicly read and published in newspapers and magazines.She is the author of three books: „ Can Truth be Hard on Us“ (1990), „Miodrag Todorovic in Anecdotes“ (1994),  „Last Chance to Catch the Four Seasons“ (2000). As a professional librarian, she wrote and publish large number of scientific library works. She is married to Milos and mother of Marko i Jana.

 

Zvonimir Baretic was born in 1952 in Rijeka, Croatia. He graduated the Arabic Language and Literature at the University of Belgrade. He worked as Arabic translator in the former JNA, and the teacher of English in primary school.  In the past few years he translated several books from the English language to Serbian  for several publishing houses. He experienced and survived bombing in Libya, Saudi Arabia and Serbia, as well as crossing the mine field in Kuwait driving a Toyota Corola. His lifetime obsession was  and still is martial arts (he gained the master title in karate Soto-kai of the famous teacher T. Murakami) and profound learning  (Taoism and Buddhism) which marks his  phylosophical understandings. For this  reason he studied Chinese for three years at the University of Belgrade and practiced Tao te Djing for more than  thirty years.

 

Dr Slavko Mrkic  was born on December 25, 1932 in Domanovici, near Capljina (B&H). He finished Primary school in Domanovici and Secondary school in Capljina and Mostar. He finished the Military Academy, YNA Foreign Language School and his studies in Belgrade, where he has been continuously living since 1963. He has PhD in law science and he was a full-time professor at the Belgrade University and the Center of High Military Schools, where he continuously worked from 1963 to 1993, when he retired in the rank of colonel. He published about 100 scientific and specialist works (books, text books, brochures, articles) among which are  five Yugoslav text books (as a co-author) in the total circulation of over half a million of copies. He has been retired since 1993, and he worked at the University until 2000 (1/3 of working hours).“His scientific activity ranges within the areas of military sociology, military politics and strategy, general theory on war, international relations and defense of SFRY. Most frequently, PhD Mrkic analyzes the above-stated problems in their wide meaning – from philosophical, sociological, political, internationally-legal and military-strategic aspect”. (From the paper on his promotion to the position of full-time professor at the School of Medicine in Belgrade). “With his public teaching-pedagogical and scientific-theoretical work PhD Mrkic is acknowledged as an exceptional expert in the area he deals with… Results of his works  have both theoretical and practical value, and as such, contribute to the scientific solutions to theoretical, methodological, educational and training issues and problems in the life and work in YNA… Professor Mrkic successfully transferred a part of his scientific knowledge, either through his papers or lectures (at the international conferences and in the magazines that were translated into foreign languages) across our borders, which helped better understanding of our views on the social role of war and military politics in the contemporary world and our concept of defense”. Dara Ruzic was born in  1939.  in Bjeljevinama, Otocac, Croatia. For many years she worked professionally in entertainment industry in Serbia  as well as  abroad including USA. Her book “The Mysteries of the World, Questions and the Cosmic Answers” was created as an attempt to explain inexplicable mysteries of the world. She is the writer of an unusual sensibility and clear expression. Her impressive presentation inspire readers to think about her controversial statements and force them to make their own understandings and discoveries. On that road, secrets do not exist anymore , and the mystery became an illusion

Slobodan Plavanski was born in 1957 in Belgrade, Serbia, where he graduated construction and urban development and still lives and works. He is a writer with the curious spirit and in constant search after ultimate truth. To his readers he discovers the connection between known and unknown, visible and invisible and gives an  unusual picture of our everyday reality. With the convincing and interesting language he communicate with readers, giving them unexpected explanations about a concepts and  the purpose of everything that surrounds us. “The Secrets of the Humanity” is his first book which represents his faith in the possibilities of direct understanding of our many realities and of the concept of the Universe.
